Enjoying a Heineken beer and snacking some Old Amsterdam cheese, the party was a great success.

We can honestly say that the atmosphere is very good! We have been working so long and hard to organize this journey and to actually make it happen, that it is hard to believe it is finally happening.
But when we entered the port of Harlingen on Sunday August 16th, it all fell into place. It was absolute fantastic to see how the ships were decorated with ( American ) flags and how some where even repainted.
We all had the same feeling of exciting; it is really going to happen”
we have been overwhelmed with gifts and gimmicks like trays, beer cups, T-shirts, beach towels and I even saw people walking around in some very charming yellow socks.

I have seen a variety of t-shirts, all worn by very proud participants To make a long story short: we are all looking forward to go to New York.
